People in Bangalore who come under the jurisdiction of BBMP (Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike) can pay their property tax online through BBMP site. For online payment the site asks for application number of last payment made, so first time payment has to be made offline via BBMP offices. From then onwards payments can be made online, and it’s very convenient. A word of caution - the site may not be always available. At times I tried and got error, so you need to have some patience.
There is also some discounts provided as an incentive who make payment early (before specified date).
